Fuss-free cover

Ice Skating Travel Insurance

Get your skates on and arrange cover!

Gliding gracefully across a glistening rink like a swan… pirouetting elegantly before making a perfect landing… skimming hand in hand with your loved one over the ice…ice skating can be a fantastic experience. While you may spend the first half an hour clinging in terror to the sides of the rink or crashing head-first into the barriers, once you get over the initial hump you’re bound to get the hang of it.

At Insure & Away, we understand that aside from minor scrapes and bruises, ice skating is a fairly low-risk activity. As such, it is one of over 100 exciting sports that we cover automatically, no questions asked. The only proviso is that you are ice skating for just 1 day as a holiday activity, rather than ice skating regularly over many days as part of a winter sports holiday.

If you are intending to ice skate over more than one day, you will need to book our Winter Sports premium, which covers you for a range of winter sports activities including skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding and much more. Once you’re covered, you’ll benefit from a comprehensive range of measures to protect your health and wealth, with our Essential & Premier policies including:

This is just the tip of the iceberg – our policies come with a whole host of additional benefits, including automatic cover for many different pre-existing medical conditions. For more information on how we can cover you, feel free to contact our friendly team; we’re always happy to help!
